Gitmo detainee says he was tortured under Obama more than Bush

I'm watching Fox just now and this Gitmo detainee (Ghailani) who was just released into France sat down with Dan Rather and said: "They lie, lie, lie. They lied. Nothing change in Guantanamo. Nothing. The same rules. They torture me in the Obama time more than Bush. More than him."

Obama's gonna crap his pants when he hears that. But Diplomacy should work if he just tries harder, right? Then he'll just sit down and chat with the man and tell him that he's really a nice guy and it's all Bush's fault.

Obama is much worse than Bush. I think Bush paved the way for Obama to come in and **** **** up. 9/11 was an opportunity to start making things for socialists and government control. You can't say Bush didn't start some of this. The whole wiretap/big brother thing was brought on by him.

Soon everything will be government regulated, you'll have to deposit 25 cents in a urinal at a public washroom before you can wizz or run the risk of being castrated!

I agree that Bush was Progressive Lite and did some stuff to screw up our Country. I was pretty pissed at a bunch of stuff he did, especially his last term, acting like a liberal.

My husband and I were just talking about this a few minutes ago because the international wiretap thing just came up on Glenn Beck (TiVo) with AT&T caving into the Bush Admin. We had a hard time with the pros and cons but actually thought it might be a good idea because extremists want to destroy us and they feel it is their spiritual mission and would use telephones to coordinate and plot. (The Muslim convert who just shot two soldiers said he did it for Allah.) These people are not rational, they are radicalized.

Problems is, the Muslims in prisons here are radicalizing American inmates, so then the law would have to be extended to American Islamic converts, which leads to wiretapping citizens. So what to do to stave off another 9-11 without violating citizens rights?

You have the cleric the other day with a training video instructing followers to carry 4 lbs of anthrax through the Mexican tunnels into the US and kill 300,000 Americans. (Like he's going to announce where they're REALLY going to try to get the WMD through)

Most of us do not realize how hateful and brainwashed these people are. But God forbid you say anything against a Muslim.

Honestly I see myself changing my views on things as of late, I too believe in the evil doers N.Korea, Iran & Radical Islam. Yes it's all bad stuff & I do believe that they are out to do harm to America but is really being used as news filler as a distraction from the true criminals.

I have to say the true harm being done in America is being done by our very own Goverments corruption including both parties

I love whats happening overseas right now in the UK!!!!!! Justice comes when political heads roll

I've been excited about so many countries moving to the right too. Rush said on Tuesday that he thinks it because they could dink around and blame us for everything and be anti-American and they knew if they got into trouble, we'd bail 'em out anyway militarily or financially or humanitarian aid. Now that BO and his cronies are destroying our country, we're impotent and other countries realize they have to rely on themselves now. Hehehe. Makes sense to me.

The EU's right is like a version of our mid-left. Before we get too excited it will (more than likely) still be the same ol do-nothing EU. To me the EU is like a room full of tabloid journalists. Yes the Brits sent a few as did the Germans but as a whole the EU is worthless and will be until their hair is on fire.

During WWII there was all kinds of restriction on freedoms in this country,especially freedom of the press. The NY Times would have NEVER gotten away with revealing top secret NSA and FBI operations like they did during the Bush Ad. The Times was so selective in their attacks they marginalized the revelation of important stuff however when Valery Plaim was outed they cried bloody murder. A little biased? The way some people react to the Patriot act you'd a thunk they were suspending constitutional rights all together.

That's what's so hilarious - the Left believes that these terrorists were tortured by the evil Right. So what happens now when said terrorists accuse Obama of worse than what he blamed Bush for?
