These look pretty cool. I haven't seen them mentioned anywhere. Anyone have experience with these type vents? Do the "gills" have any advantage over the screened ones? Air dynamics etc? From web site:

If you ride in super dry powder this is the vent I would go with. I have the screen vents on my turbo dragon and have had a heck of a time bogging with powder coming through the screens. Finally gave up on the screen vents and put these type of gills vents and last ride out they worked good at keeping the snow out. They defiantly hold up night and day better compared to the screen vents especially when in the trees. Seems like they will do better removing heat when moving do to the vacuum. I got so sick of snow coming in I was about to just buy stock side panels. This is on a dragon not a pro.

Looks like a great design. I want just the upper half of the clutch cover vent :face-icon-small-win

Almost 1000 miles on my Pro, with the Gillvents on since new. Seem to work great and have stood up to everything I've been able to throw at them. Also have a friend using them, with about 400 miles - no problem. I would buy them again. Thanks Scott.

You hit the nail on the head for me regarding vents. I tend to get into the Alders quite a bit and fabric vents just won't hold up for me, just end up ripping or putting holes in them. I like this bullet proof design!

Couldnt stand looking at these vents any longer.
Mine should be here by the end of the week :face-icon-small-coo
will throw up a post on them when they arrive...

There here ! Very strong you could stand on them. Super easy install.

Gill vents

Just in Very nice product,A bit steep on price, BUT THEY ARE STRONG. I COULD STAND ON THEM and no flexing. If your woried about branches or tearing a vent I think these things are bullet proof. Left side vents come with screen. I also put screens on the right side as well.
Install very easy.
ordered them and they were at my door in four days.
will post what results these vents have on sled.
Time to go get the blower snow,And see what happens :face-icon-small-hap

Mike. How did you cut out the panel? Drilled holes or cut out full area?

The same as I've done with most.
Layout ribs, drill holes in the four corners and cut out.
on these vents I left a raised lip in the panel so melting snow would not drip inside.
And I also put pet screen on the right hand side panels.
