Installed the GGB Mountain Can on my SKS and the GGB Trail on my friends SKS.

The Mountain Can Weighed 4.5lbs (4lbs 8oz) The trail can is 7 lbs 3 oz. Both cans sound nice. The trail is quieter but has a real nice throaty sound to it. The mountain can has a more Braaap to it especially in the upper RPM range. Both sound great.

Stock can is so quiet almost Etec sounding but the thing is a tank and weight 19.5 lbs. So I am seeing 15 lb weight saving just by pulling a few springs and switching the silencer.

I also installed a WPS vented goggle bag. No need to use the sticky fasteners. I was able to use the over structure a bracket that supports the plastic where hood sits to zip tie it in.

Contact me if your interested in a GGB Can or use link below for safe and secure ordering.

The factory can is totally insane, they at the very least should have made it from super thin 304 stainless, they go to insane lenghts to save weight and have a 20 pound muffler on there..... good god, pulled that thing off of there yesterday and damn near got a hernia lmao

do you have a part number on the under hood bag? Also is vehicle specific or a universal bag? Cant find it on their site anywhere. Thanks Eric

thanks. I guess I have seen that bag before. I think I will try and make the bag from the Pro fit. Eric

I installed the polaris bag from the pro yesterday, it will fit, use the plastic fastener thats there for the outer left hole, then drill one small hole in the cowl for the right hand tab, use a little bolt for that one, the rear hook I ziptied back in there to the support near the steering block and then the bag fastened to the frame with its strap on the right rear, its not as perfect as the installation in the pro but it will hold with no issues. ( you dont use that plastic rod support btw)

Just installed a GGB Trail Can that I got from GoBigParts (thanks guys!), I definitely like the deep throaty sound and the weight savings. Here's another comparison video for anyone else that is interested in one of these:

Is this muffler finished in a black ceramic coat or is it just hi heat paint?
If its paint how does it hold up over time?

It looks more like a high temp powder coat. It has a nice feel and texture to it. Mine looks as good or better after one season as my ceramic coated silencer did after one season. Plus it keeps costs down for the customer. We do sell the Skinz too if interested.

I have had painted cans in the past that looked bad after a few rides, glad to here these hold up. The price is good, shipping to AK is probably not lol.
