I don't have much reason to chime in but what a waste of time this was. Some of the comments here were so ridiculous I had to jump in. MtnDoo's statements really show the antiquated beliefs and outrageous interpretation of the issue, and its apparent quite a few people of your generation have been sucked into this mindset. This may be the result of brainwashing and exposure to those anti-marijuana ads of your time. Fortunately for some of the younger generations are able to see through the smoke (haha) and their lives have been just fine. Just like access to the internet was a scary prospect for kids and the possibility of seeing something they shouldn't, the storm settled and now we have every 6 year old with a cell phone and don't think twice about putting kids in front of a TV all day. We could talk about studies of what that does to the human brain or eyesight, not to mention their mental and physical growth.
It's sad indeed to see a active member of the forums with so many positive contributions spew such disappointing opinion. So many people are looking upon it positively as an economic jump-start, a age of new opportunity, and a relief to hundreds of disabled or needy patients. Many elderly people are sick of high-cost and poor performance medicine that have undesirable side effects and are very pleased with what mmj can do for them.
Sure, some choose to indulge that may 'only' have chronic pain from past injuries or maybe even as simple as an appetite problem or problem sleeping. But let's not judge others on their choice of medicine.
Binge drinking and popping pills might be something you can rant on next, but just c'mon guy, give us the same slant so we can chuckle and have another toke..

I have been looking into opening a dispensary in El Paso county....
They can clear about 150-180K a year
The only downfall is they tend to get robbed about every other week
