Greed is what drove the markets, now it will destroy them.
When I bought my house, a lot of people I know were wondering why I didn't get a low rate adjustable.
I could have gotten into my place for under 3%.
I opted for the standard 30yr at 7% (later refied down to 5%).
Now, over half of them our trying to figure out how to keep their houses and my total payment including insurance and taxes is less then 900 a month.
