Get Boosted

If you want good, clean, fresh hay you must expect to pay a fair price. If, however, you can be satisfied with hay that has already been through the cow, that comes a little cheaper. Boost on :beer;:D

Travis - why are you being such a dick? MPI has had a LOT of unsatisfied customers with the SC. I think it's great that your's is working good, hopefully they got a lot of the issues dealt with. All you have to do is do a little search and you will find many, many customers who have had issues with the MPI SC, and a lot of them are pretty experienced guys around boost and sleds. So don't hurt yourself when you fall off that high horse you're riding;)

Sorry Not trying to be a dick,just telling it like it is!!!!! Modded sleds = Getting bugs out and tuning period!!!!!!

My modded MCXpress has been gas and go since I bought it. No tinkering or wrenching and exactly what I wanted when I bought the machine.
If I wanted to wrench I would have bought a turboed 2 stroke.

It does sound like guys with superchargers are finding the setup a little more work. But these sleds with boost are the most fun I have had snowmobiling ever!

I don't think there is much wrong with a MPI Supercharger, they are getting all the bugs out finally.

Elaborate please as I live in Salt Lake and can't get squat from them in terms of "getting all the bugs out". "Just experiment" with the 6 different modes is not my idea of getting the bugs worked out. Reflashed, ran like chit and could not get new baseline settings for the reflashed box. I would not even consider a MPI SC for my next sled

Sorry Travis, I gotta go with Bigrock on this one. Had the MPI stage 1 last season and present. Last season was a complete write-off as I fiddle farted around all year trying to set up the junk MPI sold me and make it work. Not much luck, took it to a more experienced dealer, he did a good job, this year its working better. Absolutely no credit to MPI who I can"t say one thing good about. OK, maybe I'll say they are good welders, but thats it. The rest, negative across the board. Their mapping system sucks, their BS promises about the updates are BS, their dealer support sucks, and the controllers are junk, the connections suck, and sure, if you're really knowledgable and experienced, you MIGHT be able to make it rock every day, but GOOD LUCK.
They remind me alot of BRP, in that this year the pitch is they got the stage 2 for the Nytro, they should figure out how to make the customers happy with the stage 1's they got out there before making more promises to the unsuspecting consumer who eat the hype and lay down their cash.
And yeah, I'm very aware that mods are sometimes a bugger to dial in.
No question for me, next time, and there will be cause I LOVE boost, small turbo, pump gas, and way less BS.

another happy customer with trey at high altitude boost!! I did the install, he sold the kit, cluching , ect. and answered my questions!!

Impulse is a great kit, least lag out of all them with the mid mount, hardest part was modifying the seat for the new gas tank, come with the 9.3 gallon tank very cool. If I ever had a problem called Paul or Dustin, very helpful service, should call Paul up and talk to him about this kit

Thanks Trey!

Finally got some baseline numbers and more info from Trey:) in one week than I ever got from MPI or TJ in over a year:confused: For the first time, I think this sled is getting close to it's intended performance. Also did the snorkel for cold air intake. Spent about 6 hours out riding today, about 1/4 of that time getting it dialed in a little better. I baselined Trey's settings before heading up to the snow, and just getting off the trailer had me grinning. His settings were damn close. Need to do a little more dialing in, but it was running so good overall that I just had to say "fug it" and just ride:D. Thanks again Trey.:beer;

i agree about the mc xpress kit my mc nytro is the first turbo sled I have owned I am extreamly happy so far with the turbo I had leipheimer in Montana do my install dropped it off and picked it up a week later all clutching was close. I dont know enough about four strokes to do that kind of install and almost 7k is a lot of dough to screw up so in my opinion if you are not comfortable doing the install on a turbo see the professionals if something goes wrong then its on them. $1,200 well spent. I have know a guy with a mp supercharger and he has also had a lot of problems with his little things that just kill his time, the biggest advantage I see with turbo vs supercharger is that you get the same horsepower on pump fuel with a turbo as you do with race on a supercharger, the extra 3 dollars a gallon adds up and if you had to run race in a turbo then you would have more power and thats always better
