Meh. Never like Florida that much anyway. Kind of a swamp filled with old and weird people. Let 'er burn.
He will walk. He is guilty as sin, but the police screwed this one up so bad that even a halfway decent legal team can get him off.
We don't even know the real evidence yet, just a bunch of bias media bs.

^what he said. I said it all in the other thread that got locked wyo summed it up well. Media shouldn't be allowed to give such ridiculous slants on legal cases which have not been decided one way or another yet. This guy will probably never get a fair trial.
Media shouldn't be allowed to give slants? Pretty sure that is all protected by the constitution. Free speech, freedom of press...
In the same breath you are saying it is a ridiculous slant, but where did you get your info from? What's makes your info any better than the rest of ours?
What is being reported can just as easily be right as it is wrong.
The 911 tape is out there, he(Zimmerman) was told to stay put and not go after the kid.

Well, you see when you read two stories about the same case in the same day and they both contradict then at least one source has to be wrong. There is so much misinformation quite frankly I don't know what to believe. The only proof that exists that is undeniable is the 911 tape your referring to. It was said that there was a video of zimmerman's head without a laceration and then it turned out that vid actually DID have a laceration on his head.
Regardless I will maintain he is innocent until he is proven guilty. Why? Because EVERYONE deserves the right to a fair trial, so with all the media making false statements and giving jurors bias it makes it impossible to have a fair trial so by doing these things the media infringes on Mr. Zimmerman's right to a fair trial.
Whether he is found innocent or guilty, his life is ruined.
Trayvon is gone.

We all have a hunch on just how events unfolded that night, but none of us know a damn thing.
Pretty ignorant to decide how this story should end with the information we currently have.

My thoughts exactly.
The location of the body will be the key....if it was next to the truck it will prove George went back to the truck as instructed by the 911 operator and Martin was the aggressor (as claimed by George, the eyewitness and the tapes)....if not, then George is in deep doodoo.
The first investigation came to the conclusion he was defending himself...but now the media is involved.

I think it was already proved he pursued him despite being told not to. However, I'm not exactly sure when it became kosher to punch someone in the face and slam their head into the ground for being suspicious of you. If Martin wasn't doing anything then he should have acted civilized. If he pounced on Zimmerman then Zimmerman had every right to shoot him. If a white or Hispanic kid did this to an adult everyone would be like yeah he had it coming for attacking someone like that.
I mean think about it, Zimmerman had the police on the way already, what would he benefit from shooting someone. The only thing fishy is he couldn't fight off Trayvon, but in the midst of being pummeled he managed to locate his firearm and shoot him? That part is a little sketchy to me.

Ill tell you what......none of us know what happened so he is inocent untill proven guilty..period! I cant believe how frigging evil all these media and protester have acted....it real sick and not in a good way
I was just thinking about this from a different perspective. Flashback....I'm 17 years old and walking home from the grocery store and notice that I have truck following me with with a gentleman talking on the phone. I keep walking, but the guy keeps following me in the truck. Do I start to wonder what this guy is doing following me? Yes. I keep walking. Guy pulls up next to me and tells me to stop without explaining why. Do I stop? No, I keep walking because I dont know this guy. He keeps following me and adventually confronts me....how do you react?
Interesting to think about...at 17 I probably would have been a bit nervous about some random guy persuing me and wouldnt have given the time of day. However, the second that he gets in my face and is agressive, you better believe that since I'M BEING CONFRONTED i'd do my best to protect myself. Thus, the stand your ground law.
With this being said, it will be interesting to what Zimmerman has to say. Did he identify himself as a neighborhood watch person? That would have kept me from running and made me less nervous. Did Trayvon confront Zimmerman in his truck? Will be very interesting to see how this plays out with the STRONG media influence. How is there going to be a fair trial? Beats me!

Yeah, a good perspective. But being 18(and very conservative in how I deal with conflict) I would probably have just ran away cuz I know I'd be faster. But even if I was feeling like a bad @ss that day and decided to knock his block off I'd have punched him in the face and left it at that. I wouldn't jump on a guy when he's down especially in a gated community like that.
Be sure to listen to the 911 tapes....at least the parts they let us hear.
