Gen III's, SE 162 skid, Camo extreme oh my!

Just installed a 162 se skid with timbersled drop brackets a camo extreme 2.5" and Gen III simmons. All i can say is WOW! It is a totally different machine! I am amazed at how simple mods could turn my nytro into a whole new animal! I cant wait to get a trip lined up to get in some real snow and see how it does in the steep and deep stuff. Totally worth the time and money to do these mods. Next on the list: BOOST!

What yr is your nytro and what skid did you install, I have a 10 nytro 162 i have gen 3 and just installed yamahas lightweight skid just waiting for some fresh powder to try it.

What did your Nytro start out life as before the mods?

Started out as a 2009 mtx 153". I modded the tunnel similar to the look of the 2010 tunnels. I'll try and post pics up sometime this week.

Mine is an 09 but i installed a 2010 162" skid. You talkin about the lightweight kit on yamaha's website? i'm curious to here how they work.

Yes, its the yamaha suspension. Im hoping to get it out this week and see how it performs. Im also looking at boost. Im thinking the 180hp MCX or MPI.

You just cured 90% of the problems with your sled!

I know what you mean. I just put a power claw track with Simmons skies. night and day difference.

Yamaha's light weight suspension is awesome. Im very happy with the way it performs. Tried it out in a foot of powder and it works great!
