Vern Simmons worked with Steve at B's Outback/Toys 4 Us/You in Hyrum UT

Steve had the ski as a prototype three years ago, before it was available for the Twoskis. When he came to help us two years ago at the WSSA snow show he brought it and we displayed it on our Eighthundred.
Now, depending on your snow conditions you may love or hate this ski, the only two riders here in Wa. that have bought it have gone back to the OEM ski, we have heavy wetter snow on the coast.
Simmons made a specific model of this ski since they normally sell Twoski's at a time, for the Snow Hawk, it has two extra carbides on the outside edges plus their idea of a anti darting kit, needs to be modified. it also comes with a solid non pivoting mount aka Twin Axis, our riders that tried to make the ski work went so far to adapt the their OEM Twin Axis, but still no satisfaction.
cwh, since you are happy with this ski, you should try the Twin Axis on yours and report, you can always go back.
2Moto is now including this ski with their package!
Tony's opinion to you trail riders is save your money, if you don't need flotation in "DEEP BOTTOMLESS POWDER" snow you could try the original narrow version of the Simmons ski, ask them for the mount they developed for the Hawk to go with it.
Or, unbeknown to you all I presume, the AD Boivin ski is not their design, its just a larger/wider to scale version of the OEM twin carbide ski that came on the 2002 Ski-Doo MXZ Renegade, this is the actual ski the Snow Hawk racers were using in the snocross racing days, back when all that existed was the 503F Snow Hawk, I bet there are tons of these taking up space in the back in Ski-Doo dealers across the flats, because Snowmobilers love to bling their sleds and the Ski-Doo catalog used to show it in a rainbow of colors!
