Gearing?

755 RMK Gearing?

Anyone know the stock gearing for an 06 RMK 755 151". I would like to go to a 19/42 setup but I dont want get the gears and take it apart if I dont have to. Also will the stock chain work with this setup?
Thanks in advance. :)

not sure what the stock gearing is..
but if you havent taken your chaincase off before, you should do it anyways..get in there and check chain tension and condition of everything..

plus i am sure its do for new case oil in there too..would give you a good idea of what you have now..

19/42 rocks on there, and yes..it uses the stock chain...refill with auto tranny fluid..i use royal purple myslef (11oz)

I second that. 19/42 is IMO one of the best mods for this sled.

Just had it at the dealer at the end of last winter to have some of the plastic replaced after I got in a fight with something mysteriously buried in the snow.:D They did the chain case update on it and replace the fluid in it. If i tip it on its side can I save the fluid thats in there or should I replace it anyways?

Fluid is cheap - just repalce it to save yourself a headache. The update was just a stiffener accross the cover. Not saying it happened, but the dealer may not have replaced the fluid. No need to pull the cover for that simple update. You will really like the 19/42 gears. Good luck.

Isn't the 19/42 gear for climbing? and not top end or mids?
is there such as a 21/40?
I haven't checked on this just yet, but today a 700 Dragon stayed next to me alittle too long and I really don't think it should be that way, I mean come on 700 vs. 900. The 900 should have the *** to pull a bigger top gear! Right?
