Ok, so here is what I'm dealing with. I decided to make some upgrades to my Pro, rather than buy a new '13. Previously, I have been running stock drivers and track (155" 5.1), stock gearing, and about 10 PSI of boost (8-12 depending on conditions). I just changed out my track and drivers, to Avid anti ratchet 7 tooth, 2.86P, and a 155' Peak.
What I know: my new track is heavier, and my new drivers have geared me down 12.5% from previous.
I was happy with gearing as it was before, but am now wondering if I will be geared too low, or if the new ratio will be about right to handle the additional rotating mass. I was thinking of going up 1 tooth on my top gear, but was curious if anyone had any solid suggestions, or thoughts before I started randomly buying gears.
For reference, I am riding at average elevation of 10K'.
Thanks
