I have a 2009 Dragon 800 SP, and I am trying to gear the sled and I keep thinking of the 1.75 ratio that I have heard others talking about.
Should I aim for that ratio? Is that the "ultimate performance" ratio?
My stock was 25/40 and that ratio was 1.64. And does it matter with the 1.5" track?
I have a 24/42 to go with and that will put me bang on the 1.75.
I thought that the higher the ratio, the slower you will go???
But if the theory of the higher the ratio the slower you go...then I am in trouble.
Has anyone tried this gearing combo in this sled?
I am curious as to how the sled will perform, will it be all bottom end, or will it be close to stock performance of the sled?
