Im looking for a good mountain gear set up for a 01 mnt cat 800efi 151. with new clutching, 151 challenger, drop and rolled, and twin pipes.

The problem is we are starting from a 72 chain and a 20tooth top gear. We're looking for the best all around bottom gear for this mountain application. want a bit more bottom end for climbing and boondocking

i know the kingcats came with 19/43 gearing with the 72 p chain, i would think you could use the same chain with a 20t top gear, i think most guys run 20/46 but not sure what chain with that setup..

20/46 with a 74 pitch chain. And I think he meant a 42 bottom not a 32.

19/43 with 72 pitch here works very well.
