Gearing from 151 to 162 track?

Soon I will be changing my 03 800 edge RMK track from a 151-2" to 162-2."
I am wondering if i need to change the the gearing and what kind of track speed i should be looking for in the powder? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

03 800 RMK
slp single pipe and can
gutted air box
boost bottle
anti-ratchet drivers
2 wheel kit
slp powder pro skis

Depends on the driver size you use. My 03 was stretched from a 151 to a 159 and the smaller 8'' drivers was enough of a gear reduction.

I ran 9tooth 2.52" drivers with a 159" track (stock setup) with 19/43 gears in the case. That seemed to work well for me. I had SLP twins on an otherwise stock motor. I don't recall looking at track speed though, so no help there.

I can hit 85mph on mine, maybe more but haven't looked real close.

I run SLP twins aswell.

With my 151 track, and stock gearing,i can only hit about 45 mph. Thats climing in the deep powder. On the trail i have hit 90-100. Im thinking about gearing down a little to get my track speed up in the deep. Am i thinking that the right way?
