Gearing down '07 M1000

Has anyone geared this sled down? I think mine (stock) is a bit weak on power and I don't want to start putting a bunch of mods on it. Is gearing a good option?

m1000

56/64 seems to me the best m1000.....that's one lower than an M8. Did m1000 with 162 pclaw track to 55/65 at christmas, boderline scarey, wow, what a launch, basiclly stock clutching, you'll find lots of belt and bog issues on the 1000 up and disappear with mtn gearing, stock they are road gearing, lazy and soft, and mega winn zapp clutch kits will not get you to what you expect from a sled with this kind of power..........that you can't find.

Cats clung to that theory for years, that a big motor needs tall gearing, for 25 years they have completely missed the boat on all the big motors they have ever produced by hamstringing them with TALLLLL GEARRRRING.
