gearing/clutching

i have a 800 s/b pro r with a 136 track, i put a 2" track on it for going out west in a month and am wondering what i should do for gearing and clutching. stock gears are 22/36. not sure on what stock weights are. any suggestions?

Gearing

Most mountain sleds run close to a 1.95 ratio. You are at 1.36. Shoot for some thing close although it won't be quite as critical because of your 136 track. You will also want to go a couple of grams lighter on clutch weight due to elevation. You will need to lean it down as well if carborated based on your elevation. Check you clutching and tell us where you are going or what elevation and post that info and we can give you some more direction.

im going to winter park colorado area, elevation is around 9000 i found on the internet.

stock weights are 10-66 and the stock primary spring is black 120/310 i believe.
thanks for the help

Clutching

140/320 spring (Polaris almond round) or SLP blue/red with 10/62 weights. Above gearing and main jets as needed depends on air box gutted or not. If you mains are in the 500-510 range, you will need to go down to the 400 range. Air screw and needle clip position as need for throttle response.
