Gearing and Track question

I just bought an 2012 Switchback Assault 144 and want to change the track out. I'm taking the sled to Colorado for a week of riding and the rest of my season is in the Midwest with a mix of on/off trail ridding. I'm looking at the Back Country 1.75" or the Challenger 2". Any good or bad with either of them? Also I understand I need to change the gearing when going to the 2" track. Would I need to with the 1.75 track? If so what would I need? I assume clutching would stay the same between the two tracks depending on Altitude. Where is a good place to get Polaris parts? I need a spare belt, plugs, and clutch parts.
Thanks,
T.R.

Go with 20/42 gearing and the 2" camo track. I had it and it was awesome. The camo track has been around for a long time and is a great 144 for all around riding. just run your scratchers when you're on trails and you'll be just fine. Clutching recommendations remain the same w/ the track swap.

good place to get parts is at a local Polaris dealer, but if yours is useless there are several internet sites that will ship to your door. Plugs and basic stuff can be bought at napa and places like that...

Thanks tdblakes! Where do you do most of your riding? I want to make sure if I ended up riding trails more than off the track won't fall apart. What scratchers are people running?
