GE is going to make BILLIONS on this new cap and trade farce!
It is Obama's payback to CNBC/NBc/NY Times for them helping him win
the election! All that money is coming from anyone who uses energy
of any kind...meaning....us! Not to mention the entire new govt
dept to oversee it and the fact that these credits will be traded like stocks
It is going to be huge for GE!

I would give anything to see GE and especially NBC and PMSNBC go down. I can't watch that vile crap but my Julliard grad, daughter tells me she gets all her news from Kieth Olberman. There no adjectives low enough to describe that clown and you can understand why my daughter and I don't get along well.
I won't buy as much as a freakin light bulb from GE as log as Jeffery Imelt is in charge and we used to think they were the best.

GE has already invested HUGE in Obama's green movement.
The problem is, a lot of dems are just as much against CAP and Trade as the republicans.
It doesn't look like the cap and trade will get done.
It also is looking like the whole, green job training and green push is starting to fall apart when the amount of cash is known.
The Dems are starting to get the message that they may have already overplayed their hand and are VERY worried about 2010.
Put all this together with the facts that NBC (regular shows as well as news) and MSNBC are NOT doing well. If you added the news viewership of both NBC and MSNBC you still wouldn't have 30% of FOX's viewership.
The head of GE can't ignore the fact they are losing money with NBC and MSNBC and the share holders are bailing in huge numbers. GE may still be making money, but the liberal leanings of some managers is costing GE millions. As with anything else, money talks and BS gets fired.

I'm way ahead of you, I have a generator myself and the stuff GE built was largely for nuclear plants. My brother was an engineer in that division for 35 years and was plant manager.

And some of the (Nuke) turbines out there are.
In this damn state you can choose to use green power.......could we choose not to use GE?
