Gauge with altimeter?

Can I swap out my 08 M8 gauge with one that has an altimeter or is there more to the swap than just the gauge?

Get one and put it on. Done it to a few now.

Like mine

I have a 09 M8 Sno Pro and have mine configured to display the altitude all the time on the top of the display, RPM's on bottom. It took a few times of setting the calibration to get it to stick, but for the past two months and about 800 miles I've never needed to touch it, and I have varied my altitude quite a bit from 800 ft where I live to 10,000 ft in Idaho. Great feature to easily be able to tell your ride elevation! Oh and I also love my AMP guage cage!

Thanks guys. I will start looking for one. I love the amp gage idea too. Now, if I buy one used will it show the previous sled's mileage or mine from the ECM?

Previous sleds Mileage. I bought a used one for my latest build and it show just shy of 4000 miles although sled is basically new. Got it from Cat salvage.
