Does anyone have the guage lifter on there Pro's? With the short windshields will it get cracked if you have to roll the sled out of a stuck. I dont have the sled yet but looking at accs. for the sled when i get it and im ordering my sled with low windshield. I dont want it to stick up above the windshield. Thanks

Wildchild makes a nice bracket that makes it possible to raise and lower the height of you gauge.
It works with the SLP intake as well.
You can PM him on this site or CanadaSledParts.com

PM madsigntist for his Mad Fab Designs lifter.

I've had my Pro over several times with the short windshield and it's fine. I didn't over tighten the two brackets so it will give if needed, but it hasn't budged.

Install is fast and clean.

I roll my PRO often when stuck. I have the short windshield and the gauge lifter. I made a pair of little brackets to drop it below the top of the windshield works great.
Here is a pic of what I did.

To the OP:
There are almost 1k of MadFab Pro gauge lifters out there and I have yet to hear of a single one that has been damaged from rolling the sled.
Same goes for the piles of them on Cats.

Not even an issue. PM me for a spring deal.

Yup I got this one, highly recommend! You've got more adjust-ability so you don't hit it when you roll it over and a cheaper price then the others.
