Gas rack on RX1 MPI Tunnel with rear xchanger and bender rear mount turbo...??

Hey guys I have an RX1 with rear mount turbo and rear heat exchanger under the MPI tunnel. Is there to much heat in this area for a gas rack? Any recommendations? Here is a picture of my rear tunnel.

I have the same tunnel and turbo. The only difference is the exhaust outlet. I have mine coming out of the stock opening with a turnout. As for heat, I have NO problems with my setup with the gas rack. I really can't see how yours should be any different. I would mount it as far back as you feel comfortable. If you are worried about tunnel heat, put a barrier between the gas can and the tunnel. A small patch of neoprene or rubber gasket material will provide plenty of insulation from heat.
