Garage Flooring Question..

just got done with about 9 hours work on my garage.. plan on making a bar. already have a frig. had a big screen till it took a chit..

its just concrete right now. what your suggestion for flooring?
concrete stain?
stick down tiles?
garage floor coating?

trying to keep it cheap....

Dont go too cheap behr-home depot has a garage/concrete paint and its crap.....the paint will bubble due to standing water and then it will continue to chip once dry

I used the RustOleum garage floor paint and it turned out OK. I had to prep the concrete using 3 different products becuase it had lots of existing oil stain. The other thing was it needed 8 or 10 hours with the floor temperature of 55 degrees F, and that happens about once every 2 years here, so I set up a propane heater and hoped for the best.
A friend used aircraft hanger floor paint and it is georgeous, but way more expensive.

As BowSheet stated, prep is everything. No problem with a new surface but if you have oil stains you have got to use some powerful stuff to remove ALL residue.

My next garage will be line-X ed. We do our sled trailer floors with it and it`s awsome.
