FZ turbo Yeti

Very well put , many many variables . I can answer one of your questions though the Hawks can be lifted by the steering post that works as their balance point .

Just by dropping and rolling the skid has a major affect on how nimble these machines handle , the reaction time goes from a reflex to a hesitation .

It would be nice to see this FZ hanging . I would hope that it's balance keeps it in the aggressive street form , the lighter weight of the kit alone might just do that .

Has the FZ Turbo project been scrapped yet or show us some videos with some side by side action shots

Yup, me wants to know what's going on with this critter also?????

These FZ bikes have perked my interest more than anything else going on.

The only one making sense to me it the 600 eteck build .

That is a great baseline to start from.

Get that one refined and you may have something.

Even reverse :face-icon-small-dis

The balance is a totally valid point made

food pegs 1.5 inches back same with the handlebar made a

huge difference-- bike is still to long. For perfect balance

the frond end engine and all need to move almost 1 foot

toward the track ---Foodpegs would need to be on the tunnel

This is simply not possible with a conversion system.

AD Boivin knew that but the hawk solution did not balance

out due to the engine out front.

We are stuck where sleds were before rider forward we were messing with the Idea but needed the OEM to build us the proper platform. That is not bashing snow bikes , it is just a reality check.

We have only ridden it 2 days and it's fun, but it's definitely the Apex of snow bikes.
I watched friend double his buddy straight up and over super bowl in Revy with this bike on a day where a YZ 450 couldn't make it 200 ft up the hill.
It will give it to a stock 800 sled on the hill but will not run with a turbo 800. Seems to handle good and will draw lines all over the hill like any bike, but it is heavy.
Now that we are getting caught up a bit with the sleds, we will spend more time on it from Feb on.
We will likely sell it Mar-Apr if anyone is interested. Will be roughly 25k cdn funds. Can sell it to the US.

Sweet thanks for the update.

Is turbo kits for the FZ bikes a goal, or just having fun?

We always like to keep our options open. R&D projects are always a great learning process regardless of whether they turn out or not.
We have a turbo Yamaha YXZ that we have been running since Oct and it has also been a fun project that will make it to production. Although we were running it today and freezing the throttle bodies with our water to air intercooler. I guess heated throttle bodies have their place.
