FYI NEW PRODUCT TO IMPROVE DEEP POWDER PERFORMANCE

Last year I designed a product that allowed me to disconnect the sway-bar on my '09 Dragon to allow for more maneuverability in deep powder and in the trees. This also allows me to reconnect the sway-bar for hard pack conditions or the trail ride back to the truck. Here in Oregon, we have to ride trails to get to the backcountry.
The best remedy to the sway-bar or no sway-bar question is of course a replacement set of shocks setup for no sway-bar, but what about that rider that can't justify the $600-$1000 shock upgrade. This is where my product comes in.

Here are a couple of pictures showing how it works.

The reviews of my product are starting to appear now that people are getting a chance to ride with them. And the reviews are very good.
Please let me know if you have any questions, or I can help in any way.
I can be contacted through PM or the links in my signature. You can also take a look in the swap meet here:

Tedd had this product at the Boise snow show. I looked at him and asked, "What the hell do you need a disconnect on a Pro for, they already handle like a dream in the powder?" He said that they haven't really been tested on the Pros. Me, being the sucker for a new gadget that I am, bought it anyway. I installed it and rode in 3 ft of "decent" early season snow. The sled does handle considerably better in the deep snow. The Pro is not a saint on the trail, and lets face it, most of the time it is an all out race up the trail until you find your spot to dive off for the day. In our area, we have alot of un-groomed trails that gets us back to our honey holes. The sway bar is very essential to have, but at the same time, in 2 minutes, you can roll your sled on its side, pull the pin, and just like that you are ready for the deep. Make sure you have a tool to chip the snow out of the hole when re-connecting after you are back on the trail. If I could suggest any change, I would suggest that the point of the pin be more tapered so that tapping in is easier.

Great Idea, I looked at doing this as well, but got stuck on how to hang it. I was leaning more towards what the guy on DOO-Talk had going on for the REVS a few years ago.

Nice work, I'm thinking I need two of those.

Got mine on the way! Cant wait to try it out

Just an FYI, it went out USPS to you on the 5th, so let me know when it gets there. I am curious to see how long it takes.

Thanks AK49er, let me know if you decide to get one or two and I can get them out to you.

saw these at the Boise snow show and they are awesome. product is very well made and was extremely easy to disconnect/reconnect the sway bar.

Thanks to those that have purchased from us in the last few weeks, you are greatly appreciated.

While there is debate on whether or not to disconnect the sway bar and what it does when you do disconnect it, the design concept was to allow for the decision to be made at anytime you wanted with ease and no modification.

I am really looking forward to hearing from more riders once they have had a chance to ride with them and try it out.

Put mine on. I love the technical stuff with now sway bar, but hate it on the trails and bug jumps. now I have the best of both worlds.

We are running a $10.00 off special for the month of February if anyone is interested.
Thank you to those that have purchased already and for the comments.

The kit kinda just looks like 2 bolts that you can get from Ace hardware with holes in them for a cotter key?

Am I missing something else that the kit does?

I updated the pictures in the original post as well as my signature links.

The kit includes a new sway bar end link lower mounting pin that replaces the factory bolt, and a powder coated holding fixture that clamps to the sway bar to hold the end link up securely out of the way of the suspension. None of the parts are readily available. All of these parts are purchased and assembled to produce the kit. Each kit requires assembly time as well as powder coating, packaging, etc.
