FYI...INFO ON 2012 SILBER TURBO PRO RMK TURBO KITS

Having purchased one of his kits last year and dealing with him over the season, I can say he stands behind his stuff. With only a few other companies out there with a kit that really works, I would keep my stuff a secret also because he is going to be copied. There are a few people out there who know what the changes are and are excited about them, but are respecting Justin by keeping their mouths shut. After I sold my 2011 Pro to my buddy, I called Justin and sent him a cheque for my 2012 kit back in March without knowing what the changes were going to be. He asked me what I thought needed to be changed and I gave him my two cents. He is probably nearly sold out of his initial stock of kits. He most likely had a budget to work with and number in mind of how many kits he was going to sell in a rush. Those waiting to see what he has will still get one if they want one but they will have to wait until the early orders are gone first.
I am only speculating here and he can set me straight, but it only makes business sense.

I've been wondering the same thing, been considering k mot or mt tamer, but I had Ryzner re valve the skid and add remote rescivoirs last year, got her all set up for my weight and fell even more in love with the sled. Ive decided I'm gonna leave it stock and try control it with the rtss first before I dump a bunch more money into it.
I went with the Kmod conversion with the Raptor shocks this year. Kevin says he can revalve the WE shocks and they work well with his set up also. I am taking mine off and selling them. Last year there was no way to keep the front end down with the rear scissor setup unless you ran a pretty much solid rear shock. Plus I thought the ride on the trails to the alpine could have been much better, so heres hoping!

I totally understand why he is keeping his kit info to himself right now. I would too if I was him, because if it is as good as it's being hyped up to be, it will be copied. I'm just going nuts waiting for the info to come out. One other positive, NOBODY IS EVEN IN THE SAME BALLPARK AS SILBER ON PRICE!!!

I know Justin has probably the best most loyal fan base on here and he has worked hard to build and maintain his reputation. So my hats off to him for everything he has done to this point in his career.

However, I think selling or pre ordering something that a manufacturer is un wiling to give the details on is NEVER a good sign. At this point your buying a reputation and not a product. I have done that before and it didn't work out as I had planned.

I know its Justin's business and his decision. I personally just don't agree with leaving people in the dark. Many people are trying to make decisions on which turbos to buy this season. More people might jump on board with Silber if they knew what they were getting. Then again more people might jump off board too, so I guess it works both ways.

I hope it's a great kit. Justin deserves more successes based on his track record. I would love a chance to evaluate and compare his kit with my other options before I commit to a decision.

Your comments are sincere and educated, its nice to see somebody not just bash on something for fun. As i agree with you on most of what you say, I truly believe that if somebody is gonna buy a 4 thousand dollar performance part for there sled they would be smart enough to pick up the phone and call and get the details and talk to the man themself rather than waiting for internet talk. I realize most of us are used to reading it on the internet but to be honest I called him yesterday and he told me everything that was new for this year. He is not hiding it nor is trying to mislead or pre sell and screw people over, imo. I think everybody will be pleasantly surprised when details are released and then let the internet pissing match begin :face-icon-small-ton

Actually... the internet Pizzing match will have to be hosted on another website...The volume of PM's and emails from our members, manufacturers and adverts that are just sick of it is enough for me. We can do with out the backbiting, and bickering.

Keep this thread clean and bash free as well as the others that have product announcements. Just a heads-up.

Silber turbos is in active production, a good company with a good reputation... Simply does not want to put the info on the forums here for now... That is his choice.

Like RH said above... give him a call, he'll tell exactly what you need to know about his products.

I ordered my kit in the middle if august and he said he was over 70 kits sold. He said mine would be delivered in november.so the longer you wait to order the longer you will be waiting to receive. I also thought the info was going to be released after hay days? Oh well! I can see why he's holding back on the info. I went with the holz skid to keep my front end down, haven't tried it yet.

From the first post in this (and other turbo FYI threads)

This is not a place to bash on their products... nor talk about other competitors aftermarket offerings.. this is a "FYI" thread on this particular product.

Sorry for the wait, we have been working out some delivery details with our suppliers, and had one of our CNC machines drive motor fail. Kits are on schedule for delivery starting middle of Oct.

Here is some final information on the 2012 kit. I will have pictures up next week, waiting on parts to come back from coating. Thanks for your patience.

Please give me a call if you have any questions or concerns.
