FX Nytro Mid Mount Low Boost Turbo Kit

Recognizing the need to be price conscious and that not everyone has $5,000+ to spend on turbo kits. Ulmer Racing has been working hard to lower costs and bring sledders a great all around trail package with good useable horsepower! With that we will have more information available on this new kit, but here are a few details.

Ulmer Racing FX Nytro 180 Kit
Included in the kit:

• 8.5 gallon Trail Tank (100+ mile range)
• Ceramic coated cast iron header and down pipe
• Ceramic coated turbo exhaust housing
• Ceramic coated heat shields
• GT2554R dual ball bearing turbo
• Dynojet Power Commander III
• Multi Function Hub
• Exhaust enters into the stock muffler
• Stock muffler = quieter than stock
• Intercooler
• 180 HP @ 8800 rpm on premium pump fuel (low elevation runs 5 lbs of boost, high elevation runs 7)
• This setup runs on a stock motor and usually takes 8 hours to install.

Available options:

• AEM Air/Fuel Ratio Gauge
• Boost Gauge
• ***Gauge include gauge cup to mount gauge.***
• Clutch Kit & Gearing Package

Other options that will be available also:

• Upgrade to Power Commander V
• Upgrade to LCD Screen with Boost, Air/Fuel Ratio, RPM, and MPH
• Electronic boost control

are these low boost kits upgradable down the road, if you want to add more power?

Yes they are upgradeable to the GT2854R dual ball bearing turbo to 12 lbs boost at high elevation and then we have a modified GT2860RS that will go up to 18 lbs boost at high elevation. Lowering the compression ratio by using a thicker Cometic gasket is also an option.

When you get prices for the upgrades needed for high elevation kits you should post those here or on the turbo section in the swapmeet. It would be nice to know that if you start out at 4k now how much it would end up costing next year or the year after for some more power Thanks Tyler

Does the kit come with a turbo support bracket? I know the new header is suppose to be strong but a support bracket would be nice.

No there is not a support bracket for the turbo. The header was designed with a turbo weight of 100 lbs as a factor (the turbo actually weighs roughly 18 lbs). With the turbo weight as 100 lbs it took the equivalent of 8 g's of force before the header cracked. We have a lifetime warranty on the header and down pipe!

The header is plenty strong but what about the aluminum head/head bolts with 18lbs. hanging on there when your banging over mogels
