Fusion 900 rear shock removal

Hi all,

I am trying to remove the rear shock on my fusion to take in for a rebuild/recharge and I cannot seem to get the bottom bolt out of the bracket that hold it to the shock on the bottom and the top due to the bolt being to long to totally remove, it hits the topside idler wheel on the top bolt area of the shock, and the bottom bolt hits the edge of the bottom rail, so it is impossible for these bolts to completely slide out!

The front shock was easy, the rear shock is giving me the problems.

Does the whole torsion spring assembly have to be removed to change the back shock? If so, does anyone have a schematic or set of intructions for removing the torsion springs/assembly? I was thinking of upgrading to a heavier spring anyhow? Thank everyone, you assitance is appreciated.

Removing the torsion springs is pretty easy. Just remove the bracket on the long side from the rail and spin the spring around. Then support the sled from the bumper or lay it on its side and take the rear skid bolts out. pretty simple after that.
