Ok, and what about primary? I am thinking of trying stock first with the 11 series weights. Should I reconsider that also?

I'm a flatlander also with the 900 switchback if you run the 11 series weights it will hold you clutch out farther you need to ask indy dan what weights he use to shim your clutch and stay with them or the shimming will be off.same with the belt use the same as it was shimmed for. I use the black/green on primary and the 720 helix but what ever you use check out the weights they will change the way the clutch is shimmed. I've tried it.

Since I will have the clutch apart anyway cant I just re-shim for the different weights? Or is that an involved process?

Are the MTX weights better than the 11 series weights for low to midrange? Also what is the stock primary spring colors?

On a side note I had my belt deflection set wrong, so I adjusted it and man did that help that sled out....made it a whole new machine.

Stock primary is 120/310.

Sorry you ask for color. The deep snow manual says its dark blue/white

Ok, I wasnt sure if I had the stock primary spring or not. Previous owner said he never touched the clutchs, but you never know. And polaris parts sites only list a number. I thought I had read somewhere black was stock. Thanks.
