Fusion 700/900 engine temp

Hi guys,

Can anyone tell me when the engine temp warning light comes on with the Fusions? I was in some slow tight trails and the engine temp was up around 165 deg for a bit.... Just wondering if this is too hot to run at..

No thats only starting to get hot, its not a bad idea to take it easy but damage won't occur until 200+. Its the same motor as the RMK, the light for those comes on around 220-230.

from what i have been told at about 175-178 it will go into a rich mode. backs off timing and adds more fuel and at about 210-215 it will go into limp mode and drop a cyl at idle and again lose timing and add more fuel. dont qoute me on that just what i have herd but 220-230 is the lite. with rad delete and scratchers you should be set. i try not get above 150.
