Fun with punks.....

I have to admit, that was a mildly entertaining thread. A lot of good points were made in between all the name calling.:D:beer;

I don't get these guys.... It just goes to show how ignorant and clueless people have become.......

I enjoyed the suggestion of removing the can and attaching flexible dryer hose. Then running the hose into your helmet. Problem solved.

I think the point of all this is coming on here where 90% of us are experiencing land closures and asking something as trivial as "what's the loudest can for my sled" WHICH has been asked so many gawd damn times that your not going to get the response you want. It's an invite for a Cletus whoopin.

Sooo the point being, if you have anything except a stock can you are a punk that only rides in the wilderness. I run a cpi pipe/can, it definitely is not stk but it is not obnoxious either. Not trying to argue but cmon the kid is 15. How many of us at that age were the same way?

Sooo, the point being, school's still in session.

The point is you don't come on here and ask such a stupid question. Ask what's the best can and you'll get all kinds of info but specifically asking and wanting a can that makes the most noise is just a bad idea.
It's also a bad idea for someone getting bashed by everyone on the site yet they keep coming back for more...i.e. Cletus and class is still in session.

I think the fur traders need to shut down the internet, because you people sure do get your panties in a bunch over some of the dumbest crap ever. I think we all need to realize that the fur traders you speak of are going to do what they want regardless if it is noise or not. If it's not the noise then they will find something else. Whats done is done. The industry has a bad name for whatever reason and there is nothing you are going to do to change it. You seriously think that they are going to stop just because you tried? I dont think they are going to stop until they see them outlawed no matter what the industry does. Oh well it is fun to watch people bicker.

perhaps but we need ammo, and the more we co operate the more it gives us bargining chips. Performance is cool, excessive noise is not. At all.

All I am saying is yes some sleds are really fricken loud and obnoxious but isnt that their right as an American. .

This would more likely fall under the category of privelege. . .. .our "rights" as Americans are something that carry a little more weight and seriousness .. as I see them.

I really do not understand why you'd just want it for sound though. I've had one sled that was quite loud with a can, and it just gets annoying and no I didn't buy the pipe I bought it like that! :D

I mean loud trucks are different. Making a diesel's exhaust "loud" is for performance, not to annoy people not to mention it just involves cutting out things not buying new parts :p

ive had an slp pipe into an mbrp race can on every sled ive owned since 2003. i ride all over ak and not once have i ever heard a tree hugger say anything about the noise. but since you people live in alaska (you dont live in alaska) you would know about noise issues better than me......
