Full Rebuild or just rings?

What sled?

How many miles?

What was the compression like?

How do the cylinders and pistons look?

Are you having problems with the sled (what are they) or are you just doing preventative maintenance because it's an older sled and you would rather fix it before it blows up on you while out riding.

Are you doing the work yourself or taking it to a shop.

Preventative maint. The sled is an 02 summit 800 after reading RKT info I am having the loss of power program I think I want to go with his drop in kit with the cheater head! Anyone use this and how does it work

Don't personally have one, but ran with them, they run awesome for what they are, make great hp, and help reliability. I have dealt with Kelsey a bit with pistons, he is very willing to go out of his way to help you, a freaking pile of info. Ask around a bit more, but never heard a complaint out of his kits.

any 2 stroke with a couple thousand miles do for pistons because the pistons colapes and cause ecessive clerance and you break the skirts off and usally hail out the bottom end cheap insurance . i have never used kelseys kit but i seem to here good about them and he is good to deal with
my 02 cents
