I HHHATE losing all the previously spoken wisdom. Does anyone know if the old forums were archived?? What happens when I wanna read the ramblings of Freeride600? Are they lost and gone forever??? Oh well, I guess I gotta write it all over again.

The old one will be online for 3mos or so...
but i'm with you, i would like to see a permanent archive of that... there's a lot of data in there. I read a thread on the old forum about how the posts were deleted after x-amount of time anyways, so it's not a start-to-finish archive anyways.

Archived after 120 days and deleted after something like 6 months. Its no wonder so many questions get asked over and over again.
It really is a shame they purged the threads that often
