Fuel to oil ratio 2004 800 rmk

I'm wanting to know the fuel to oil ratio on my 2004 800 if anyone with knowledge on this please tell me what you run!!! Please and thank you " i have heard 20-1 is recommended but than i hear 33-1 and 40-1 just wonddering

Are you switching to premix and removing the pump? 40:1 is generally recommended, but 32:1 is easier to mix. :)

If you are pulling off the pump and going premix you need to mod the case to get oil to the PTO bearing.

Well my buddy who i bought this sled from already did all of that! i have never owned a sled that i had to premix the fuel! but i do appreciate all the help and good answers!im thinking ill try 30-1 most likely

I wouldn't go heavier than 32:1, that is more than enough. It's nice because you can mix 4 oz to a gallon and get the right ratio.

Go buy a ratio rite, you can get them from any dirt bike store. They have the ratio marked out on the size, makes it stupid easy.

I was manually running the pump to fill the lines this morning after rebuilding the engine and it seems like carbs get alot more oil than the crank lines. And the Pto side line might be getting more oil than the mag
side. Does this seem right?

Carbs should get more than bearing lines... you use a lot more oil through the gas mix than dribbling in to the bearings.

I don't think there is a difference between mag and pto though. But if the PTO gets more oil that wouldn't be a bad thing.
