Fuel pressure regulators..

Great, I might need a kit. I would just have it picked up then.

Hey I am looking for a fuel regulator and am wondering what the difference between your kit and BMP kit is? BMP's is the one I was looking at buying but I seen your setup and would like to know more about it. It will be going on a 2009 M1000

My kit uses an angled outlet fitting instead of a tee in the fuel line.. This kit is my improved version of the others much cleaner set-up i think.. Let me know i would be happy to set you up. Thanks Palen

How much for your kit, and could you ship it priority to Alberta, Canada? Does not matter the extra money to ship it priority either. Let me know, would like to get a regulator before christmas.

Pressure dropping after shut down

I also bought one of ptofnrtn’s kits and it worked out great thanks ptofnrtn. I have a question maybe someone can answer? Before I installed the adjustable regulator I had a fuel pressure gauge already installed. When I would shut my sled off the pressure (46psi) would hold constant for hours. Now with the adjustable regulator I have it set at 50 psi and when I shut down the pressure drops to 40 psi right away. I’m not too concerned about this because as soon as I pull the cord it goes back to 50 psi and it starts on the first pull every time. Do they all do this, is this normal? Did I install it wrong somehow?

Both my 05 m7 and my 09 m1000 both do exactly as yours does.. I dont know about before installing the regulator though..

One thing I don't understand is why pressure keeps creeping up. I set it on 42 and it creeps up to 44-45 wthin a week or so. I have reset it twice now. No big deal, just wonder why it would do it if the nut is locked down?

I have a gauge only and psi will hold for days and other times psi will drop to zero over night. I don`t understand why. Maybe water in fuel turning to ice when sled cools down and holding open the regulator ??????
On a separate occasion gauge psi red zero sled would not start and psi remained at zero until I warmed up the sled the on first pull of the rope psi went to 46+ and on second pull the engine roared to life.

Thanks in advance for any insight on this post
