fuel mileage

i started out full got back to the truck for lunch rode like 30-35miles had to put in 7-8 gal to fill it up. rode another 30 some miles after lunch and the tank looks as low as it was for lunch. it ran great no ck engine light plenty of power. i knew it wasnt goin to get great fuel milage but, wow didnt expect that bad fuel milage. it fits right in with the rest of my other gas guzzling fleet

Sounds like an excuse to get a compressor. No i swear i had to spend that money sweet heart , my sled gets better fuel milage at 12 PSI.

i had the same probelm first ride on my 900 1M...i burned 1 1/2 times more that my buddies on their 800 poo's. turned out i was running way rich...i knew that also cause it wouldnt run worth crap. fixed the jetting and noticed a HUGE difference. My guess is that if ur running rich and on the throttle hard, that could be your problem

i've got no complaints how it ran at all maybe it was just the way i was riding it. it was my first ride on it. it was a really warm day also. i ended the day riding in a tshirt. i'll ck a few things and measure the fuel more precise and ck it again.
