Fuel fitting options on secondary injectors?

I have been removing, and reinstalling my intercooler on my Boondocker RG kit a bunch of times this season. The process is pretty simply except for one part..... Removing the fuel line from the fuel rail on the secondary injectors. It is a goofy angle, and there is always a BATTLE to get it off of the barbed fitting without damaging the fuel line with a pliers/etc.

Is there a trick to getting it off with less hassle? Are there other types of fittings / hoses / connections that can be used that will allow easier removal, while still securing reliably?

on my secondarys I just keep the fuel rail attached and flip it up and over to one side. Mine may be plumbed different then yours. Primary fuel rail isnt to bad to pull off. This is the same part I dread everytime I work on my sled. This thread and the airbox thread go hand in hand. Ill be watching this one for sure.
Maybe quick connect fittings like air or hydraulic fittings.

Some kind of quick connect would be sweet for sure. It shouldn't be that hard, but really is a pain in the AZZ. I few times, I have ended up just cutting the fuel line so I can peal it back, but then I end up having to replace the fuel line after a few cuts since it gets too short. My secondarys are attached to the intercooler so I dont know if it is really an option to leave them attached to the fuel line, but Ill check that out.
