R

RETRO ASSAULT

So I see bully dog is in the game now and Boondocks is still building stuff and we have Dyno jet. What other options are out there to manage fuel on a 2013 and 14 Polaris?
Is the bully dog set up for only turbo or do they have a controller for non turbos too.
If I missed any one please add them to the list of fuel controller options.
Im looking to buy one.
Thanks.

The latest SLP catalog has the option of buying the Bully Dog setup with their staged petformance packages for CFI-2 800

I believe they are all pretty good today they have had some refinements thru the years . It come's down to what you want to achieve with a controller , some need a lap top to adjust ,some need to be programed from the dealer and some you can program your self .
Since my engine is not overly modified I only wanted to enhance the fuel delivery so I went with Gen 4 + from Dobeck it comes with a O2 sensor and a AFR gauge that I can use to fine tune in the field . Not to say you could not use it for a turbo application it will work fine for both .
I have a PC-V on my dragon 700 to me it was a pain to have to use a lap top to change any settings . But in 4 yrs it has always worked .
I have not had a chance to use the Gen 4 yet but they have been using it on atvs ,Harley s ,RZR with great success and it has helped with snow bikes fueling .
Hope this helps.

I've seen a few fuel controllers in person over the past couple years.

I've seen most of them have hiccups and issues...many have needed replaced, sometimes more than once.

The only one I've seen so far that has NOT had a hiccup is a very high-end product. The Vipec. It's a full replace replacement, not a piggy-back add-on.

Not to say nobody is immune to problems and is totally full-proof...but the stand-alone units seem to be by far the best.

Yes, much more expensive.
