Front shock question

wow....

Ok I can't give you the best of info and someone more specific will chime in but.

Stiffness is determined by where and how your ride. Please give some background on what you have.

What shocks are you running on what model sled?
How stiff are they?
Where are you riding?
How hard or what kind of riding do you do? Hill-climbing? Backcountry jumping? Trail?
How much do you weigh?
What is your rear setup?

These basic questions and a few more I may have missed will help the gurus do their magic :D:beer;

I have an 06 700 RMK. The shocks are the stock shocks (red springs). Right now I have the springs very stiff. Se ride on the Grand Mesa in Western CO. We spend about 15-20 miles on trail and the rest of the day in powder. Do about 50-60 miles in a day. Do some jumping, but nothing to crazy like jumping off cliffs. A lot of hillclimbing and sidehilling. I weight atleast 200 lbs with gear on. I have the stiffer springs for the back and the spring itself is stiff. Hope that helps.

Any info would be great.
