Front float plate for 2009 D8

I am planning on buying a float plate for my sled this week and need some input. I was looking at the skinz float plate and it seems to have pretty good coverage but what I hear is fitment can sometimes be an issue. Other option is the factory polaris float plate but I know the coverage is minimal by comparison. So guess what is your recomendations for quality, fitment, looks, and coverage. Thanks!

The Skiz Float Plate gets my vote. It took a little trimming to get it to fit right but it provides excellent coverage and floats much better in the deep.

i got the stock one on my 09 switch and wish it had more covrage up over the radiator area.

Another vote on the Skinz float plate. Much better surface area for protection and flotation. It's like riding a berm in the deep stuff. Incredible how well these work in conjunction with the IQ chassis.

the float plate is a jok IMO, I bought one it did not fit sent it back to them they guaranteed that it would fit when I got it back, it didn't I would not waist my time or money on it. if you have to trim it after paying $120-$130 for something that doesn't fit like a glove is a joke, put your money somewhere else, besides it just gives it more area to hit

I was also considering this skid plate. Does anyone have any pics of it on an '09 or newer iq. My roommate has it on his '07 dragon and it looks good, but im worried it may be a little to wide and bulky for the '09 front end

07 and 08 are a different story then the 09 and newer

Correct. I have an '09, which is obviously different than his '07, and was wondering how the skinz float plate looks on an '09. Sorry for the lack of information

I bought the skinz plate and it just about fit. Called them and found out I had the wrong plate. They sent the correct plate and paid the shipping on both. Still had to trim around the A-arms but that is not a problem. I do have a new stock 09 D8 black skid plate for sale for $35 plus shipping. Here is what it looks like.
