Front cooler damage

Hi all, looking for some help/advice from anyone who has replaced the front cooler and bulkhead floor on a 15 rmk 155". Took a hard Boulder hit on Saturday morning dead center on the bottom, put a gouge completely threw the skid plate and left a 1/4" wide by 1/8" deep crease down the aluminum plate and left a nasty chunk missing in the bottom most area of the cooler. No leaks (yet) after two full days riding and surprisingly upon first look doesn't appear to have bent the tunnel or bulkhead but will know more when I tear into it this week. How involved is replacing the cooler and bulkhead floor plate. Trying to avoid turning it into insurance as my wife totaled a new summit last year and not looking to add to that. Thanks

I haven't done it, but there's a few threads around here that would give you a good idea. As I recall, it wasn't that bad, block off came out pretty easy, and since you're already plumbed, the cooler shouldn't be much of a problem. Good luck.

I think the cooler is solid metal up about an inch from the bottom. In the one place the motor mount bolt goes thru on the bottom as you can see the threads on the track side.

Thanks, I have been trying to determine how low in the cooler the coolant actually flows. I'll post pictures when I get it back to the shop.

Putting the front cooler in isn't a bad job,2 biggest things are taking out the engine and gluing it back together. Bottom plate cant say but a bigger job im sure.
