Friday ride?

Looking to ride on Fri, thinking either GC or Stampede.
I need to get some break in miles on my new Pro before I take it into the deep POW over New Years weekend.

Anyone riding Fri?
If so, where?
I'm totally flexible as to location, also will have sled deck with a open spot.

Did you get your clutches back from Carls yet?

Did you get a chance to use the spare clutch I loaned you?

Old Dragon will be at Crystal Springs for Friday and Saturday, look for the black Ford and black enclosed trailer with two dragons out side.
I'll trail along with anyone tHAT needs an extra body.

Yeah, I did use it........in reverse only, from my sled deck to my garage floor. LOL

Great to have it if I would have needed it though. I'll give you a call next week or maybe meet you at the snopark on Fri.

Yep, watched the 06 700 drive away on someone else's trailer 2 weeks ago. The next day I drove to Oregon Trail Sports (Michelle - FreeAgent on SnoWest) and picked up the new Pro.

As to the steep and deep....All I'll say is that its on the East side of the mountains and its always epic. On a busy, sunshine and bluebird day, you might see 6 other sleds and you'll always see untracked!!

Snowing and blowing on Baker = No Fun

Not enough snow down low to play in the trees yet.
I don't go up high in snowing and blowing conditions, had to inch our way down following GPS tracks more than a few times.
Not enough snow and too many open crevasses for me.

I would be interested in riding if you were going somewhere other than GC. Unless you know something other than roads to ride, I have not had a lot of fun at that place.

Well, this time of year, its gonna be mostly road riding anywhere.
I was thinking with the new snow and a freshly groomed road....haul azz into the main area....play in Skate Park a while then head around the back side to American Bowl and also some good tree riding areas too.

I've never been a big fan of Stampede, I guess if I rode with someone who knows some good play areas that'd be different.
Plenty of hidden sweet spots at GC IMO, it's always been my fall back to spot when weather or snow is not up to par

my sled isn't fun to ride on roads so i am going to sit this one out. i might try baker, i have had some real fun days in crappy weather there, but if that is a no go then i might have to put the sled away for a while longer. good luck finding partners.

The one day I have to work is the one day we get snow....Go figure. I guess you will have to wave or just give a one finger salute as you drive by me this morning. Should be a good day up there. I put 4 rides in early and haven't had the sled out since b4 Turkey Day. Have fun and hope the new toy gets a good break-in ride.

Looks like some Dumbazz drove over the berm and up the road a ways. Big ruts!
