The best part about this whole thing is that snowest provides 0 of the actual information on this site, so for them to charge you for a service that they aren't providing is really quite laughable.

I'm not naive, I know there are costs to host and administer a site, but don't let anyone fool you, these sites are profitable through the advertising of parties who wish to sell product to a very focused group of consumers.

the sites that do have premium paid memberships are also sites that actually create content and have a paid staff of journalists who write specifically for the website.

Paid forums, good luck with that one.

I know of at least three Utah members who have upgraded. Really, for most these folks to be able to afford to snowmobile then to wine about a $30 charge for three years seems a little silly to me. Really, it's less than a gallon of oil.

Me thinks there is a better chance that the numbers will be headed in the opposite direction.
