They are going to wait and see how many people pay, how many go basic and how many simply leave.
Then they will hard roll over to the new pay system and go through the whole drill again to see how much traffic the site gets. Then they will be able to tell the advertisers that are still paying for the banners how many people still visit the site and adjust the ad rates accordingly.
At that point the decision makers will wait until the summer of 2011 during a round of golf to say to each other: (pick one)
A) "Did we make more money before we made it a Pay Site or after it was a Pay Site?"
B) "Did we pay for the server upgrades yet so we can go back to a free site?"
C) "Remember when we had a snowmobile web site that had a huge following in the forums section? Man were those the good ole' days."

but if we don't pay we don't play in UT or any other state?

I would guess that I'm like everyone else that in that I don't want Snowest to fail. I would pay the $30 today gladly if I thought that anyone was going to be on here after the roll over. I guess that I will wait and see like everyone else. I'm not noticing anyone changing from a free basic memeber though.
