FP Regulator on 2010 M8?

Anyone running a fuel pressure reg. on their 2010 M8 or XFire? Is there any need for one? My bro runs one on his 07 M7 and had to adjust his FP that's why I ask.

they did not make an 07 m7 they only made it in 05-06 then they went to the 800 i would run a reg because they had a wide variation on the fuel settings it needs to be around 38-40 stock on an m7 on the 800 not sure id put one on an m8 and set it where you want it the cat manual has a wide range somewhere like 38-48 or something dont quote me im not staring at my service manual

Don't do it! The 10 M8's are pushing plenty if not too much fuel on the bottom and mid range. If you do anything, add a fuel controller. I found this out from adding a fuel pressure regulator on mine and making it run like crap. I ended up dialing it back down to stock 46 psi and using a boondocker fuel controller and it has performed flawless.

Your right I asked him today and it's a 06 M7, my mistake.

What is involved with adding a fuel controller? Plug and play? Does it void factory warranties? What is the best all around FC? I am not running a turbo or a highly modded sled so something simple would work without having to be a super tuner to dial it in.

I have a D&D fuel regulator for my M7 and it is as simple as cutting the fuel like plugging the regulator in-line and mounting the guage where you want it.
