V Vertical_Escape Free Member Jun 20, 2009 #2 I wouldn't think a fox would try it unless fawn was abandoned or injured already. Might be wrong, but fox usually go for smaller prey than a fawn. Now a coyote, indeed it will. Leave them fox till cooler weather, make it worthwhile to shoot them.....
