Fox Floats on M8's?

Just curious on what pressure typically works well or is required?
Do you check with weight off skis or does it matter?
Does temperature, and altitude effect their performance or pressure levels?
Thanks

Always check the pressure with sled in the air. Most people run between 55 and 65 psi on the front's. Just depends on who you ask. Temp. and alt. effect the pressure very little. Maybe a pound or two.

Curious, but if you're setting air pressure with sled suspended in the air you still need to adjust PSI for sag when weighted, eh ?

When setting up the PSI for sag you tend to end up with a lower pressure and the suspension tends to dive to much on corners.
Now I am talking about the original floats and the float II's. Floats with evol's could be different.

Any float needs to be set unloaded. Even the evols. I've had both on different sleds. I made the mistake of setting them loaded and it was bottoming like crazy.

Thanks for the input! Ran about 50 psi on my 05 king cat, but noticed both the m8's I have now were set around 75 psi. Fox on skid was sitting at 150 ish. Maybe old coil overs were less of a headache....
