Fox Float 2's on the rear?

Anyone know anything about it? Can it be done? I know there is the Burandt EVOL setup that runs for $1100 (Not really looking to spend that)

The reason I ask is I have a '11 standard RMK with Ryde FX's that are just about shot. I run Float 2's on the front and love em. Hoping to match them up.

Anyone know the shocks lengths for rear off hand?

I believe that the source that AK provided, NexTech... Is the only one that has the Float2 shocks... other have the Zero Pro or Zero X center with the Float R-EVOL on the rear.


I think this is a good LW combo... the Float 2's that Nextech have the new technology Bleed-Shim piston technology for very predictable rebound control.
New just this year and in very few setups yet.


Nextech is based out of Canada... the prices reflect that...

Carls has a very nice rear shock setup for the same money with the ZeroPro and R-EVOL.

There are often new "take off" Pro RMK shocks that are available for the $350 range in the swapmeet.

Thanks MH. I had heard Carls had a little setup, but hadnt seen it first hand.

What about something like this:

Zero Pro rebuildable clicker 16.5 from an IQ. Seems like a good opt?

That shock is for the torsion spring style rear suspension... It will not carry a coil-over spring like the PRO-chassis RMK's have.

So.... not a good option.

Contact Mike at Carls Cycle... they have some "take off" shocks, new, from PRO RMK's ... just make sure you get the 2011/12 (right length for your sled) and not the PRO 2013 shocks (shorter)
