Found some fresh snow

The snow was better than expected up high. Didn't make it out until 2:30, but still managed to burn most of a tank... The new layer of snow is sloughing everywhere--it is mostly 8-10" wind slabs, but it could put you in a dangerous spot so be careful out there this weekend!

Nice Dan, looks like you had a great afternoon. I agree, this is a manageable hazard, as riders we just need to be aware of the consequences of one of these slides. We can't let one push us over a rock band or through the trees. Enjoy your day tomorrow & be safe!

Nice shots glad someone enjoyed the new snow.
I think the snow pack is going to stay this way till the end. Ya just have to be careful the rest of the season.

I'm happy to see somebody finding some snow. Good for you! How is the filming this year? I was thinking about it being quite challenging.

GREAT Pics Dan! I don't know why I don't run into you guys more up there. Timbersled skids rock!

WOW! Dan I am jealous I need to ride got the parts for my motor today up and running by Monday!

You can park at the bottom if you have to, it wouldn't be too bad. I wouldn't recommend driving any kind of trailer up the road. We parked right above dead mans, I don't think you could drive any farther.

I love the Timbersled skid, it makes a huge difference in the powder.

Are you going up tomorrow? I bet you'll have to drive to at least dead mans.

I'd love to, have to work, but I'm dropping off a couple sleds at tri city tomorrow for my uncle and we might ride up there Friday/Saturday if they are done in time.

Thanks Dan.
