Forward Steering Mount

I bought a forward steering mount from cr racing. Are there any little tricks to installing this bracket. Do you need a throttle cable extension? (I have a 8" monster riser as well) Does it make a big difference in steering effort and control?

threw an oft forward mount on my dads nytro last year, they should come off the assembly line with the forward post. not sure how or if your riser will affect cable routing. i had to re route the cables to the opposite side of steering column so the cable did not tighten on turns and trim the rubber around the steering post.

I too put the OFT steering relocator on mine, made a helluva difference (for me) for steering/control. You don't need any extensions with this kit but I'm not sure about yours, espcailly with the Monster riser you have on...Sherm

I installed the forward mount kit from cr racing. After rerouting throttle cable, brake line and throttle side wires directly below the steering post the brackets fit perfect and there was no need to trim any plastic/rubber from the top of the steering bracket. The location of the handle bars are close to perfect now with the addition of the monster riser. I just need a little snow to try it out.
