Fork triple clamp offset, theory

For snow use, is there anyone who would dare asses a general edict that a certain amount of offset more, or less, or same as the dirt setup would be good for snow? I'm weighing options for my next build project.

IMO offset is something you would have to play with and it would relate to the conditions and desired effect. I change my front shock pressure all the time to get a dirtbike turning feel vs good climbing in deep powder. Less offset would move the weight bias to the ski more and lessen the front shocks impact on the ride a bit. Chassis balance would be moved back a tad and the rear shock would have greater load... therefore I'd think it would climb like a beast. Longer would increase ski and front shock pressure and unweight the rear a bit... making it great for snowcross, it would also lay into a berm turn better I'd suspect. This is all speculation on my part though. I haven't done much experimenting. Most folks are just moving the ski front or back on the spindle mount to play with this mechanic.
